Canadian Oakville Mayor and Sheridan President Visited SFU

On June 19, Delegation led by Mr. Rob Burton, Mayor of Oakville Canada,  President Dr. Jeff Zabudsky of Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning and Mr. Farzad Rayegani, Associate Dean of The Applied Science and Technology visited SFU. Vice President CHEN Jingying, Mr. LI Weidong, Head of International Exchange Office met with the delegation. After both sides gave the introduction and the strengths of the institutions, Mayor Rob Burton delivered a short speech in support of the cooperation between two universities. During the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation in areas such as the faculty exchange, student exchange program, innovation and entrepreneurship in animation and computer game. The meeting ended with President Jeff Zabudsky and Vice President CHEN Jingying signing the MOU and the Teaching Training Agreement

Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is a provincially-accredited College of Applied Arts and Technology located in Ontario, Canada. Sheridan provides a full range of undergraduate credentials: degrees, diplomas, post graduate certificates, continuing education and, applied research and development. Its main campus is located in Oakville, which hosts a lot of high-tech companies.
